SRC Demonstrates Open Architecture Technologies to U.S. Defense Industry

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc., demonstrated the interoperability of its open architecture technologies to members of the U.S. Department of Defense at the Tri-Service Open Architecture Interoperability Demonstration (TSOA-ID) in Atlanta, GA.

The U.S. National Defense Strategy calls for increased interoperability among defense systems to increase survivability and enhance existing capabilities. SRC is committed to meeting these requirements, with proven experience in C4ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Modular Open Radio Frequency Architecture (MORA), VICTORY, REDHAWK, Tactical Open Architecture (TOA) and Open VPX frameworks. The company joined the Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA) Consortium in 2018 and has been an active participant in the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) Initiative for years.

At the demonstration, SRC showcased the SRC6458 CMOSS Payload, a software defined radio card that supports MORA and VICTORY software standards and is a fully compliant REDHAWK front end interface 2.0 tuner device. Also on display was the SRC7743 CMOSS/SOSA 3U VPX Chassis, a rugged, low size, weight and power (SWaP) platform that supports multi-mission applications through its open architecture modularity.

SRC has leveraged open architecture frameworks in hardware, software and firmware to develop advanced systems like the SkyChaser^® on-the-move surveillance radar, the Agile Condor^® high performance embedded computing architecture, and the High Roller ISR data collection payload.
