SRC Promotes Bessey and Lawrence

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc., is pleased to announce that Dave Bessey has been promoted to vice president, Corporate Business Development, and Trina Lawrence has been promoted to director, Business Development for Navy systems and services.

In his new role, Bessey is responsible for directing the corporate business development team, setting policy for all corporate business development activities, and growing SRC’s pipeline of business opportunities. Bessey has worked with SRC for 14 years, most recently serving as assistant vice president for counter-UAS business development. Bessey earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a bachelor’s degree in physics from Syracuse University. He is also a member of the Association of Unmanned Systems International, the Association of the United States Army, as well as a member of the board of directors for Northern New York Fort Drum Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army.

Lawrence will be responsible for supporting new and existing business with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps in her new role. Lawrence has worked with SRC for two years and most recently worked as director, counter-UAS business development. Lawrence earned her master’s degree in business administration from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and her bachelor’s degree in business and management from the University of Maryland, College Park. Lawrence also studied aeronautical science and pilot training at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
