SRC has performed site-specific ecological risk assessments throughout the U.S., including Colorado, Montana, South Dakota, and Utah. We pioneered new approaches for quantifying the oral bioavailability of arsenic and lead in soil and in assessing bioavailability data for its application to human health risk assessment.

Our scientists have supported the derivation of thousands of wildlife toxicity reference values and ecological soil-screening levels for EPA Superfund sites, which are polluted areas that will require a long-term cleansing of hazardous material contaminations.
