SRC has developed a secure, segmented cloud R&D environment to provide a private, flexible, and cost-effective means of addressing dynamic provisioning and big-data problems. This secure cloud environment leverages the workstation and server provisioning capabilities of the VMware^® and OpenStack^® product lines. It is also integrated with a cloud storage and database system based on Hadoop^® and Hypertable^®.
