Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. is pleased to announce three promotions of employees to director roles. Alex Dunckle now assumes the role of director, advanced radars. Dunckle began working at SRC in 2008 as a research engineer, and most recently served as business area manager of the advanced radar products group. In his new role, Dunckle will lead the advanced radar team in the design, development and sustainment of cutting-edge radar systems. Dunckle holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Adam Wendt has been appointed director, instrumentation radars. Wendt has been with SRC for nearly 30 years, most recently as business area manager of the instrumentation radars group. In his new role, Wendt will lead the instrumentation radars organization to design and develop radar systems for test and evaluation activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Siena College and a master’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University. Matt Phalen has been named director of hardware. Phalen joined SRC in 2009, most recently serving as senior manager, mechanical engineering. In his new role, Phalen will be responsible for guiding the technical direction and exploration of new technologies, processes and tools. Phalen holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
