Karen Morrissey Named Vice President of Human Resources and Community Relations at SRC

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. has hired Karen Morrissey as vice president of human resources and community relations. Morrissey succeeds Jim Holland, who is retiring from SRC after 27 years of service.

As vice president of HR and community relations, Morrissey will be responsible for leading and overseeing all HR functions, corporate communications, community relations, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.

Morrissey is an experienced human resources executive with demonstrated success leading functions that include talent management, benefits, compensation and HR information technology. In her most recent role as associate vice president of HR at Syracuse University, Morrissey was focused on meeting organizational goals, transforming the talent management team to a full-service talent acquisition team, launching an expanded HR shared services center and leading the design, implementation and change management of the HR and payroll system. Morrissey has also served as a senior consultant and healthcare actuary at Harbridge Consulting Group and PwC.

Morrissey holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from College of the Holy Cross and Duke University, respectively. She earned the designation of associate of the Society of Actuaries.
