Syracuse, NY – SRCTec, LLC is pleased to announce several promotions across the company’s manufacturing and operations divisions. Steve Midecke has been promoted to director, manufacturing at SRCTec. In his new role, he will focus on optimizing production processes, enhancing manufacturing capabilities, and deploying strategies to support the growing complexity of SRCTec’s business. Midecke has been with SRCTec for eight years, most recently serving as a senior manufacturing manager. He brings over 10 years of manufacturing experience to this role having previously held leadership positions in quality, lean deployment, supply chain management, and program management. Midecke received an MBA from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Clarkson University. He is Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Kraig Rando has been promoted to director, operations at SRCTec. In his new role, Rando will be responsible for the leadership, execution and vision for the company’s business operations, including implementation of corporate strategies and initiatives. He has been with SRCTec for 15 years, most recently as a senior program manager for radar and counter-UAS programs. Prior to joining SRCTec, Rando served in the U.S. Air Force and is currently active in the community as a leader in Boy Scouts and the United Way. He received an MBA from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Columbia College. Rando received his Lean Leader certification from the Center for Excellence in Lean Enterprise and in 2018 was listed as one of the Central New York Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. Gary Stevens has been promoted to vice president, manufacturing at SRCTec. In his new role, Stevens will develop innovative strategies to increase overall manufacturing capabilities to manage and sustain growth in support of the company’s strategic plan. Stevens has worked at SRCTec for 13 years, most recently as assistant vice president, manufacturing. He received an MBA from Syracuse University, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an associate degree from Onondaga Community College. In 2015, Stevens received the Manufacturers Association of Central New York Innovator of the Year Award. He currently serves on the Partners for Education and Business board of directors, the Le Moyne College Madden School of Business advisory board and the Le Moyne College business analytics advisory board.
