Eligibility

  • Dependent and sibling of SRC enterprise employees
  • Currently enrolled in college program
  • Have been enrolled in the current school year
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

Application Process

Students can apply online until March 1. The application will ask for important information that will assist in the matching process including:

  • Biographical information
  • Current major/program of study
  • Resume (to be emailed separately)
  • Work experience
  • Career goals
  • Personal interests, skills and extra-curricular activities

Please Note: A background check may be required for some organizations.

Matching Process

After an application is submitted, students will be contacted via email to setup a phone interview. This discussion, along with the application, will allow program coordinators to place the student in a specific role at an organization. We will do our best to match students with an internship that fits well with their skills, experience, and interests; however, this is also limited by the needs of the local organizations participating in this program. Students will be sent offer letters by mid-April. There will not be an opportunity to be re-matched or select a different opportunity once an internship has been accepted. The student and organization will work together to establish a timeline and schedule that works for both parties within the following guidelines:

  • 20-30 hours per week
  • 8-week minimum
  • 10-week maximum
  • Internships begin late May or early June and end by mid-August
  • End by August 16

Please Note: These guidelines and dates are subject to change.
