Yuan Kong is vice president of quality for SRC, Inc.

In this position, Kong leads the quality team in maintaining and enhancing SRC’s high standards of quality for both hardware and software products throughout the entire product life cycle.

Kong comes to SRC with 20 years of experience spanning product development, reliability, and quality for leading global organizations in the retail and electronics industries. Prior to joining SRC, he worked at YETI Coolers as head of quality, managing the efforts of corporate quality, supplier quality, new product development quality, and process improvement.

Kong holds a master’s degree in engineering management from Santa Clara University as well as bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science, and material science and engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
