Karen P. Morrissey is vice president of human resources and community relations for SRC, Inc., a research and development company with more than 65 years of experience in defense, environment and intelligence. Together, SRC and its subsidiaries are redefining possible® by delivering innovative, advanced defense solutions and products that help keep America and our allies safe and strong through R&D, services and manufacturing - investing all our earnings into technology, employees and communities. Morrissey is responsible for leading human resource functions, including talent acquisition, talent management, benefits, compensation, and learning and development, as well as corporate communications, community relations, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Morrissey has nearly 20 years of HR experience, leading talent management, benefits, compensation, shared services and HR information technology initiatives. Prior to joining SRC, Morrissey was associate vice president of HR at Syracuse University, where she transformed the recruiting team to a full-service talent acquisition team, launched an expanded HR shared services center and lead the design, implementation and change management of the HR and payroll system. Morrissey has also served as a senior consultant and healthcare actuary at Harbridge Consulting Group and PwC. Morrissey holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from College of the Holy Cross and Duke University, respectively. She earned the designation of associate of the Society of Actuaries.
