Carges, Gloss Named to Assistant Vice President Roles at SRC

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotions of Jerry Carges and Laurie Gloss to assistant vice president roles.

“Jerry and Laurie bring decades of experience, leadership, and knowledge to their new positions,” said Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC, Inc. “We are fortunate to have such talent in our enterprise and I look forward to working with them to advance our mission.”

As the new assistant vice president of mission production programs at SRCTec, Jerry Carges will be responsible for managing production programs, supporting business development opportunities, and transitioning state-of-the-art prototype systems to the SRCTec production facility. Carges has been with SRC for 30 years, most recently as director of surveillance systems. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. Carges is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Laurie Gloss has been named assistant vice president of procurement. In this role, she will lead SRC’s procurement, supply chain management and materials planning. Gloss has nearly 30 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management across various industries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gannon University and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in supply chain from Canisius College. Gloss is also an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and has published a white paper in the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Procurement. In 2018, she was a guest speaker at NASA Goddard’s Supply Chain Conference.
